The defending champions could not have asked for a tough opponent such as Sevilla to begin a new month, after they suffered a humbling defeat at hands of Manchester city last wednessday.
Sevilla have been  impressive this season and having won last seven matches at home, This means that the Catalans will have to work hard if they want to win at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

The Catalan's form at the  moment   has to be an absolute concern for Luis Enrique and the FCB faithful. lately, results aren't convincing and the performances  especially against  fierce  opponent just haven't been good enough for a club of our caliber. Nerves will not be soothed and thoughts of the shock  3-1 defeat to  Manchester city will not be forgotten easily until Barca produce a convincing display against sevilla.

Barca are still missing the qualities and presence of midfield maestro Andres Iniesta  and influential defender Gerard Pique  whilst  left back Jordi Alba is a doubt, and their  injury woes have been complicated by recent drop in form by players they often rely upon.CREDIT

According to reports Sergi Roberto, one of  Barca's  brightest performers this season, was caught out by City, gifting the ball away for Ilkay Gundogan's equalizer, while Sergio Busquets produced another worrying display in what has been an inconsistent season for the Spain midfielder.

Luis Suarez, top scorer in the league last season with 40 goals, has found the net just twice in his last seven games, while goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen and defender Samuel Umtiti were widely criticized by the press for their displays in Manchester.
msn getting ready for the encounter

Given the fact  Barca look far from the finished article that romped to the title last season, they have a habit of bouncing back emphatically, reacting to a shock defeat to Alaves by hammering Celtic 7-0, and thrashing Deportivo 4-0 after their last league defeat to Celta.
