why Barca are becoming the most dorminant side lately

Off to an incredible start, Barcelona are already well on their way towards establishing a spot amongst the favourites for this season's Champions League title,
with the Blaugrana not dropping a point yet in group play and demolishing a team as strong as Manchester City 4-0. One of the biggest reasons behind Barcelona's dominant start, is the efficiency of the front three of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, not to mention the experience under Luis Enrique that gives them the mental
fortitude that teams like Guardiola's City still lack.

WIth 13 goals in favour and just one conceded, perhaps most surprising is the club's defensive record, led by a Gerard Pique in fine form. Squad depth adds to Barcelona's chances For a club like Barcelona, a deep run in the Champions League needs a full healthy squad that the coach can constantly rely on, which hasn't always been the case in the past.
With new additions Lucas Digne, Samuel Umtiti and Andre Gomes, who have been slotting right in to give the gala XI rest, these new faces will have to continue to reduce the burden during the decisive and busiest stage of the season. With the front three terrorising opposing defences, a defensive record that is amongst the best in Europe, and more squad depth than before, the Blaugrana
will be feeling good about all that is stillto come.

Luis Enrique: Whoever doubted Messi is a bit naïve
