Match chat : Neymar floored by object thrown from Valencia fans

A high-tempered affair between Barcelona and Valencia came to an equally-fiery end as Lionel Messi smashed home an injury-time winner, only for an object from the home end to hit Neymar.

The Brazilian was left on the floor after a white object struck his face as the players celebrated in a huddle in front of the Estadio Mestalla crowd.

Luis Enrique and Messi led the protests towards the supporters after a feisty match that saw Enzo Perez and Mario Suarez criticised for dangerous tackles, the former ending Andres Iniesta's participation, either side of an offside Barcelona goal.

Tensions spilled over after the whistle with several players confronting eachother in arguments that appeared to continue down the tunnel, the visitors particularly angry with Los Che captain Perez.
